About Me!
My name is Stephanie Stacey and I love mathematics and teaching. I grew up in the Baker school district and actually went to school at Baker Elementary School in the building that is now the Freshmen Academy! I also attended high school here at Baker and loved the experience because of the great teachers and many activities Baker offered. I was a member or officer in clubs including National Honor Society, SADD, Junior Civitan, and many others. I also cheered, ran cross country, and played golf at Baker.
I moved on from Baker to attend Spring Hill College where I was able to gain an education that taught me more than just how to become a teacher. Spring Hill taught me about caring for the needs of others and finding ways to incorporate service to others in my day to day life. I was happy to learn from the same professors as Paul Agnew and Jessica Agnew, who are each great teachers themselves and wonderful mentors to me. I loved the community Spring Hill College offered and I hope to extend this loving community to my classroom.
Each year I am excited to meet all of my new students. I hope that we will be able to learn together and that I will be able to connect with each and every student throughout the semester.
